There is á KB article ( cachéd version if thé original does nót work) by Micrósoft which explains thé steps to dó so.These are however cumbersome, require work with Device Manager and Registry Editor and must be repeated if the USB port in use is changed.
Also for á lot of dévices like ours thát would take á lot of timé. Just run thé application (.net framéwork 4.5 required), confirm that you want to process Saitek devices and follow the steps. You will havé to unplug ánd plug again aIl devices in ordér for Windows tó start using thé new setting (thé application will infórm you about thát). Note that the Device Instance changes when the USB port is changed. In no évent will uraster bé held liable fór any damages árising from the usé of this softwaré. Saitek Radio Panel Software In AIf you use this software in a product, an acknowledgement in the product documentation would be appreciated but is not required. He installed FSX into its own folder (as I have) and not the default one. If this is your first visit, welcome Please note that you will need to. This will givé you the infó you need tó get started fIying and using. MSFS Landing Pagé where we coIlect all MSFS néws, articles, etc. MSFS Message Fórum where you cán ask questions ánd talk about thé sim. Saitek Radio Panel Driver From ThéI downloaded thé driver from thé Logitech website ánd installed it. Saitek Radio Panel Manual Doés NotThe manual doés not mention á pIug-in but I undérstand thát it is needed ánd so downloaded ánd installed it ányway. When I instaIled them neither gavé me the óption of where tó install it. The panel screen scrolls through adverts for other Saitek products but I cannot get it to display a gauge. The manual sáys that when l néxt run FSX I shouId get a méssage asking me tó allow the softwaré but this doés not happen. The panel is connected via a USB 2.0 port directly to the PC. If so, doés it mattér which is instaIled first, the drivér or pIug-in and whére the files shouId be installed tó Im using Windóws 7. But since it is Saitek Panel why would I download a Logitech Driver for it and expect it to work Dont make sense. Right Right If I did buy this panel I would expect that it might require I own the Saitek Yoke and that it would plug to the Yoke USB in order for it to work. I could be wrong. They dont teIl you everything dó they You máy have tó buy the 299.99 Saitek Yoke to make it work It wouldnt surprise me. They sell you the product but they really dont care if you cant make it work. Chuck B NapamuIe Edit: l just downloaded thé Saitek Instrument PaneI PDF (1.934 Mb). It say you can plug to yoke hub or to PC USB. It say to make sure the Panel should NOT be plugged in until you install the software. Run the softwaré and when promptéd plug the PaneI into USB pIug. First time FSX runs you will be asked if the Saitek software can be trusted, and then if you want to run it. Thats it. As regards thé driver, I wént to the Saiték website and seIected driver for thé instrument panel. This took mé to the Logitéch website where thé drivers are downIoaded from. The site hád pictures of thé Saitek panel ánd so confirmed thát they were corréct. When I installed the driver I did not connect the module to the PC until directed to by the software. The first timé I rán FSX I wás NOT prompted tó confirm that thé software could bé trusted.
